| 2005 - Boat Trip |
| The 2005 boat trip and Holiday in July event benefited.children from Kids in Distress and area transplant families. Volunteers from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary taught the young boater's safety and teamwork before a two hour boat trip on the intercoastal waterway --- some on 'speed' boats, some caught fish. . After the trip, lunch was served --- then games and prize drawings.

Kids are trained in boating safety by U.S. Coast Guard volunteers about boating safety and the Intercoastal Waterway. This year's instructor is also waiting for a kidney transplant.
