  About the House

 

--- Concept

The Transplant House will coordinate temporary housing needs for organ transplant patients, families and caregivers. A new build extended stay facility is planned for future needs. The 'House' will be engineered to the most recent building and safety codes. Beyond the basics, and becasue of the hyper sensitive needs of organ transplant patients, THouse Jacksonville will be LEED certified and incorporate technology and products which insure a safe, clean and sustainable environment for the residents

 

--- Organization

The Transplant House of Jacksonville, draws on the expertise and generoristy of the Jacksonvile community. The following committees comprise the current organizational structure. Please contact us for further information:

  • Administrative - Bylaws (write and enforce), Draft operating procedures, legal and organizational matters (attorney, account), bank account, escrow funds, fiscal accountability, authorization and use of funds, use of funds if the transplant house is not built, Form Board of Directors
  • Fund Raising - ‘Marketing Plan’, Fundraising events, Coordination with other nonprofit events.
  • Planning & Construction - Due diligence and master planning, site plan concepts & budgets, implement building sequence.
  • House & Operations (Management of Housing) - cooridnates organ transplant housing needs, House operations, oversees Patient Advisory Board
