Since 1990, the National Kidney Foundation has organized the U. S. Transplant Games. These events demonstrate the tremendous success of transplantation and the thousands of acts of love from donors all over the world.

Most important, the Transplant Games serve to encourage more organ donation, which can give the "gift of life" to many of the 82,000 people in the U.S. in need of a life-saving organ transplant. |
