Remember your first boat trip, your first fishing trip, your first ride down the river or the intercoastal. Here's a chance to offer that experience to special kids.

The boat trip is a Marina Day event which encourages a partnership with the Association of Marina Industries, Discover Boating, Clean Marina programs, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and participating local non-profit organizations,

Local boat owners and non-profit agencies are sponsoring Marina Day Kids at:

June 12th, Jacksonville, FL - Palm Cove Marina

June 13th, Dania Beach, FL - Harbourtowne Marina

Where the money goes

All benefiting agencies and programs are properly registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations with the Internal Revenue Service. Each fund raiser will spend less than 10% of the proceeds from the event on organizational or administration costs. All monies dispersed to affiliated agencies are designated to programs which reflect the same or better ratio. In other words --- This event is run by volunteers. 90-100% of the money collected will go directly to needy families.
